Former Windsorite Joe Coughlin has released a new CD entitled "Low Down West Broadway" and judging from the headline of this post, it's a hit. Montreal's Best Pay Tribute to Len Dobbin

Some of Montreal's finest jazz musicians gathered on August 9th to celebrate the life of a long time fixture in the local jazz scene. Len Dobbin, a veteran broadcaster, and Gazette jazz critic, passed away in July after suffering a stroke while attending a performance at the Upstairs Jazz Bar. Mr Dobbin hosted a Sunday evening broadcast on CKUT. Among those who appeared at the tribute were pianist Oliver Jones, vocalist Ranee Lee and the Montreal Jubilation Gospel Choir
